Extended Schools
At Cauldwell School we encourage and value parent / carer involvement in school life and feel it has a postive impact on a child's learning.

There are a variety of ways in which you can become a part of the school community depending on your particular interest and time you have. You can join our community group and help raise funds and plan events, learn a new skill with your child (Family Learning), gain a qualification for yourself or if you would like first hand experience of the classroom - become a volunteer.

We have a relaxing community suite, 'The Hut', where parents and other family members can come while the children are at school. You can have a coffee and chat with other parents, or you may prefer to attend a course or group, click on the timetable link below to see the regular activities that we offer at Cauldwell. there are also activities available for parents and children under 5 years old at Peter Pan Nursery School and Peter Pan Children's Centre (see their websites for further details - website links on 'Useful Links' page)
At Cauldwell we also realise that bringing up a family is rewarding, but can be demanding and at times, challenging. If you feel you need information, guidance and support we have a Family Support Worker, Julia Wetherilt, who will help you through these problems and if necessary she will signpost you to other services. Julia works Monday to Thursday and she is based in 'The Hut'. You can also contact her on 01234 301400.
