Fabulous Finish
As our topic on The Victorians draws to a close we decided to visit Bedford Victorian Fair as our ‘fabulous finish’.
It was a cold, but sunny day as we all set off on the walk into town from Cauldwell.
When we arrived we walked round all the stalls looking at the things on sale. We were especially interested in the large variety of food and the air was full of amazing smells!
We were then lucky enough to be able to ride on the carousel. Children and adults alike enjoyed ‘galloping’ round on the brightly painted horses. Judging by the smiles everyone had a wonderful time.
After the excitement of the ride, it was time to walk back to school, with lots of chatter about the things we saw and, of course, that wonderful ride on the carousel. It certainly was a ‘fabulous finish’ to our topic.
