Key Stage Two Victorian Trip
On Thursday 13th October 2011 we all dressed up as Victorians and walked into Bedford. We stopped at an old fashioned sweet shop and some of us were able to go behind the counter and weigh out different sweets. We also bought sweets and we were all given a free sample from the owner.
Next we walked to Bedford Park, which is a Victorian Park. We spotted a few Victorian buildings and had our picture taken in front of the bandstand. Then we had a picnic on the park. On the way back to school we even spotted some other Victorian buildings. It was great fun and enjoyed by all, we even got to play on the play park for a while...I wonder if the Victorians used to do that?
